Evil Now Rules Over Good

by Dr. Paul Craig Roberts
PaulCraigRoberts.org

Big Tech consists of Gestapo organizations that suppress the First Amendment; yet “democratic Americans” continue to support these fascist organizations. If Americans cared about democracy, they would boycott Big Tech and drive the Gestapo organizations into bankruptcy.

Instead, Americans have permitted Gestapo institutions to be institutionalized in American social, political, and economic life. Today in “free America” people are fired from their jobs not because of inadequate performance but for having social media accounts with companies that do not censor. For example, Colleen Oefelein, a literary agent for the Jennifer De Chiara Literary Agency in New York City was fired by her boss, Jennifer De Chiara, for merely having a Gab social media account. De Chiara did not even have an excuse that Oefelein uttered a non-woke-approved word. Oefelein experienced ongoing technical problems logging in to her Twitter account. She posted “I can no longer log in to Twitter on my computer. I’ll be on Facebook and maybe gab? And Instagram.” An American Nazi anonymously complained to De Chiara that her employee “frequents alt-right social media.” DeChiara thanked the anonymous Nazi and said: “I have taken swift action, and as of this morning, Colleen Oefelein is no longer an agent.”

MSM Joins Elitists in Propaganda Scheme: Eat More Bugs

by Mac Slavo
SHTF Plan

For climate change and global warming, the elitists are demanding we all take to eating bugs. But does anyone actually believe the rulers will be eating bugs? The mainstream media has begun their propaganda push to see if humans will actually eat bugs on their command.

The social engineering experiment in behavior modification has begun:

Entomophagy advocates say a cultural shift is already in the works, particularly among the young and adventurous urbanites who will be setting food trends for generations to come. “It’s not going to happen overnight, and it’s never going to 100% replace meat, but those of us who are health-conscious and environmentally aware have already started making that transition,” says biologist Jenna Jadin, who wrote Cicada-licious, a cookbook featuring cicada dumplings and other treats, just in time for the 2004 hatching of Washington D.C.’s 17-year cicada cycle (the next hatching is this summer. Get your skillets ready). –Yahoo

Ex-French President Sarkozy Sentenced to Year in Prison for Corruption, Plus Two Years Suspended

The investigation into Sarkozy can be traced back to the creation of France’s National Financial Prosecutor’s Office in 2014

by RT
Info Wars

Former French president Nicolas Sarkozy has been found guilty of corruption on charges of trying to bribe a magistrate. The judge sentenced Sarkozy to three years in prison, with two years suspended.

Judge Christine Mee, who presided over the case, stated that the 66-year-old former political leader had “used his status as former French president” in a “particularly serious” act of wrongdoing, as she handed down the sentence.

Sarkozy was put on trial over accusations of trying to bribe Gilbert Azibert, a French magistrate, by offering him a well-paid job in Monaco in return for information about a criminal investigation into his political party at the time, the Union for a Popular Movement.

The investigation was looking into claims that Sarkozy and his party had received illegal payments from businesswoman Liliane Bettencourt during his successful 2007 presidential campaign.

Wealth Building Through Juniors with Brian Leni of Junior Stock Review

from Kerry Lutz's Financial Survival Network

Firstly, no, Brian Leni of Junior Stock Review is not concerned about Friday’s gold/silver price rout. He is focused on the companies. The stocks are not getting hit as hard as physical metal. The investment argument for gold and silver has never been better, especially in light of the rampant money printing. Inflation isn’t like a light switch, you just turn it on or off. It’s a process that once started has to run its course. It’s a chain reaction and we live in a complex world. No one knows how it will resolve itself. Are we headed to a monetary apocalypse?

Brian has 17 companies in his portfolio of which 14 are precious metal concerns. He’s shifted his focus away from base metals. He’s bullish on copper and nickel. $27 nickel was the high, will we hit it again? In his opinion, FPX Nickel is the best nickel play out there. Copper recently broke $4 and is headed much higher. A copper gold company is an ideal investment in today’s market. Copper-gold porphyries have the best prospects of any mine out there. A lot of great investment info here.

What “Normal” Are We Returning To? The Depression Nobody Dares Acknowledge

by Charles Hugh Smith
Of Two Minds

Perhaps we need an honest national dialog about declining expectations, rising inequality, social depression and the failure of the status quo.

Even as the chirpy happy-talk of a return to normal floods the airwaves, what nobody dares acknowledge is that “normal” for a rising number of Americans is the social depression of downward mobility and social defeat.

Downward mobility is not a new trend–it’s simply accelerating. As this RAND Corporation report documents, ( Trends in Income From 1975 to 2018) $50 trillion in earnings has been transferred to the Financial Aristocracy from the bottom 90% of American households over the past 45 years.

Time magazine’s article on the report is remarkably direct: The Top 1% of Americans Have Taken $50 Trillion From the Bottom 90% — And That’s Made the U.S. Less Secure.

“The $50 trillion transfer of wealth the RAND report documents has occurred entirely within the American economy, not between it and its trading partners. No, this upward redistribution of income, wealth, and power wasn’t inevitable; it was a choice–a direct result of the trickle-down policies we chose to implement since 1975.

We Are Witnessing a Last Minute Mass Exodus Before the Final Collapse of Our Major Cities

by Michael Snyder
The Economic Collapse Blog

Americans fled the big cities “in droves” in 2020, and one recent survey discovered that even more Americans are planning to move in 2021. The corporate media is attempting to frame this mass exodus as a temporary phenomenon, but there is nothing temporary about it. Millions upon millions of people can see that our society is literally melting down all around us, and they want to get somewhere safe while they still can. In recent weeks, I have written articles about the specific problems that we are witnessing in Chicago and San Francisco, but the truth is that virtually all of our major cities are coming apart at the seams, and this is motivating more people than ever to seek greener pastures.

With so many Americans looking to move, this has pushed up home prices in desirable suburban and rural areas to insane heights.

In fact, in some parts of the country it is difficult to find a decent home for sale at all. In Bozeman, Montana one man has actually resorted to walking around with a cardboard sign asking for someone to sell him a house…

Insanity Defined

by Karl Denninger
Market-Ticker.org

This is what I’ve referenced repeatedly over the years, and many times with regard to Covid and multiple claims, whether it be masks, the PCR testing, other alleged mitigations and similar.

Too many of its findings that fill the academic ether are the result of shoddy experiments or poor analysis. … A rule of thumb among biotechnology venture capitalists is that half of published research cannot be replicated. Even that may be optimistic. Last year researchers at one biotech firm, Amgen, found they could reproduce just six of 53 “landmark” studies in cancer research. Earlier, a group at Bayer, a drug company, managed to repeat just a quarter of 67 similarly important papers. A leading computer scientist frets that three quarters of papers in his subfield are bunk. In 2000-10 roughly 80,000 patients took part in clinical trials based on research that was later retracted because of mistakes or improprieties.

Think about the scope of this problem. It is by no means limited to the medical field; indeed environmental matters are some of the worst, especially in the so-called “global warming” field.

As just one example we all know the oceans are connected bodies of water. That is, unlike a lake which may be impounded and thus rise and fall with the amount of rain, water drawn for irrigation or used to produce electricity independent of another lake a few miles away the oceans all connect to each other and as anyone who has ever put water into two containers connected together knows it will flow through the connection until they are both at the same level.

Set Yourself Apart from This Corrupt Generation

by J.B. Shurk
American Thinker

A few years back, Jim Caviezel spoke at a number of venues to discuss his new movie, Paul, Apostle of Christ. Rather than shying away from his Christianity or attempting to filter his words through the lens of pop culture’s censorship, he passionately urged his listeners to become “proud warriors, animated by their faith” in fighting, and even dying, for the preservation of human freedom.

When he spoke of freedom, he was clear to articulate that God’s gift to His children is not the freedom to do recklessly whatever we wish, but rather the freedom to choose wisely how we ought to act in pursuit of moral lives. He answered Maximilian Kolbe’s trenchant observation that “indifference is the greatest sin” by charging every listener to “fight for that authentic freedom” that requires us to live courageously. “And with the Holy Spirit as your shield and Christ as your sword, may you join St. Michael and all the angels in sending Lucifer and all his henchmen straight back to hell where they belong!”

Donald Trump on School Reopening Failures: Joe Biden and Teachers Unions Have Betrayed America’s Youth

The former president’s wild CPAC speech was full of misleading claims, but he made a valid point about schools.

by Robby Soave
Reason.com

Former President Donald Trump delivered a wild speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Orlando, Florida, on Sunday, hammering President Joe Biden on everything from environmental policy to foreign policy.

“We had virtually ended these endless wars,” said Trump, in characteristically contradictory fashion.

Trump recited bizarre talking points from former speeches: He said the U.S. should never have gotten involved in Iraq—but at the very least, the U.S. should have taken Iraq’s oil. He stated flatly that “we reject cancel culture,” though he did not define the term in any detail. He also claimed that wind farms were killing all the birds.

And of course, Trump suggested—wrongly—that he actually won the 2020 presidential contest. “I may even decide to beat them for a third time,” he said, hinting at a potential run for the presidency in 2024.

Bitcoin, Gold, and the Rush to National Digital Currencies

by Brendan Brown
Mises.org

Bitcoin as a money is just very unremarkable. Yet this digital coin is well on its way to becoming one of financial history’s great epic stories. Its promotors just hit lucky in finding themselves in the midst of a monetary inflation whose virulence intensified during a great pandemic. Double luck: the greatest speculative narrative of the accompanying asset inflation has been about the miracles of digitalization, a fantastic landscape for nurturing excitement about this new money.

Yes, on latest fact checking Bitcoin is money. We can tick the box that bitcoin performs one monetary function—medium of exchange. This is largely limited to twilight areas of the global financial space populated by diverse actors, some bad, and relates to virtual cash transfers between digital wallets. We cannot as honest inspectors tick other monetary function boxes—whether reliable store of value, denominator of loan agreement, or more generally as a standard for deferred payments.

Johnson & Johnson Reportedly Planning Covid-19 Vaccine Trial to Include Infants

by Eric Quintanar
Daily Wire

Johnson & Johnson, the company that received emergency use authorization for the first one-shot COVID-19 vaccine in the United States, reportedly plans to conduct clinical trials that extend beyond adults, including to younger teenagers and then infants.

According to The New York Times, Food and Drug Administration officials who reviewed the emergency authorization material at a meeting Saturday discussed Johnson & Johnson’s future trial plans. Those plans include conducting trials for healthy children between 12 and 18 years old, and then all children up to 18 years old, including newborns, to analyze safety and immune responses to the COVID-19 vaccine.

The Big “Buy & Hype” Bitcoin Casino

by Wolf Richter
Wolf Street

Bitcoin was trading at $57,000 when I recorded and posted the podcast on Sunday, February 21. Now, as I’m posting the transcript of that podcast, bitcoin is trading at $46,000. So the numbers in the podcast are a little off. But it makes one of my points.

So bitcoin is trading at about 57,000 bucks at the moment. Its market cap is over $1 trillion. This glorious moment jogged my memory, so I dug up that old email. Back in August 2012, I was contacted via my website by some guy about bitcoin. At the time, bitcoin was at 10 bucks.

He wanted to buy my book and pay with bitcoin. So for the paperback, which sells for about 15 bucks on Amazon, he would have had to fork over 1 and a half bitcoin. So today, the proceeds from the sale of that paperback would be around 85,000 despised fiat dollars.

California Governor Posts Video from Inside Restaurant, Where Dining is Banned

by Penka Arsova
LaCorte News

California Gov. Gavin Newsom raised eyebrows this weekend after he was spotted inside a restaurant in the state, where indoor dining is prohibited.

The story: Newsom posted a video on Tiktok from inside a Los Amigos restaurant in Fresno, California. The clip featured the governor and comedian and actor George Lopez promoting a website where Californians can check if they are eligible to receive a coronavirus vaccine in the state.

Another video from that day, which was posted to the Los Amigos restaurant’s Facebook page, showed Lopez endorsing the restaurant’s food.

Why it matters? Fresno, where the restaurant is located, is in the purple tier in California’s color-coded system. This tier is the highest on the list and means the virus has spread through the state at an alarming pace, thus warranting the most restrictive measures, including a ban on indoor dining.

Shadowland

by James Howard Kunstler
Kunstler.com

The State of the Union speech is a somewhat squishy national ritual. Since Franklin Roosevelt, presidents have delivered it early each year in-person to a joint session of congress, with every other dignitary in government on hand — except for one cabinet officer designated the “lone survivor,” who sits it out elsewhere in case, say, the Capitol gets blown up. Before Woodrow Wilson, presidents customarily sent over a written message. Article II, Section 3, Clause 1 of the constitution only stipulates that a president “from time to time” shall report to Congress on how the nation is doing.

Lately, it’s mostly just a made-for-TV special, like the Oscars, allowing a lot of familiar faces to preen before the cameras for the home-folks. Ronald Reagan introduced the gimmick of showboating heroes or victims of this-and-that seated up in the galleries, which has naturally devolved into a maudlin, cringeworthy feature of the show. But often presidents use the occasion to drop a ripe phrase on the big audience that captures the spirit of the moment: “The era of big government is over” (Bill Clinton); “the axis of evil” (G. W. Bush); FDR’s “four freedoms.” In 2020, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi introduced an instant op-ed closer feature to the proceedings, ripping up Mr. Trump’s speech behind his back in a striking display of pique, much applauded by the avatars of rising Wokesterdom, who had only days earlier seen their half-assed impeachment attempt flop.
