Landlord Organizes Protest to Publicly Shame Serial Squatter ‘Con Man’

“This is not what the American dream is. I need justice and I lost faith in the system,” says landlord.

by Jamie White
Info Wars

A Washington landlord organized a protest against a serial squatter who’s taken up residence in his rental property after local authorities failed to take action.

Jaskaran Singh bought his $2 million rental property two years ago in a swanky neighborhood of Bellevue, Washington, and thought a man named Sang Kim was going to be an ideal tenant — until Kim allegedly started refusing to pay rent, which has continued for months.

“He’s not ready to pay. He’s exploiting the system basically,” Singh said, adding Kim cumulatively owes him $80,000.

Remember the Banking Crisis?

by James Rickards
Daily Reckoning

Most of us recall the banking crisis of March to May 2023.

It began with the collapse of the little-known Silvergate Bank on March 8. This was followed the next day by the collapse of the much larger Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) on March 9. SVB had over $120 billion in uninsured deposits.

Bank deposits over $250,000 each are not covered by FDIC insurance. Those depositors stood to lose all their money over the insured amount. This would have led to the collapse of hundreds of startup tech businesses in Silicon Valley that had placed their working capital on deposit at SVB.

There were also much larger businesses such as Cisco and at least one large cryptocurrency exchange that had billions of dollars on deposit there. Those businesses would have taken huge write-downs based on the size of their uninsured deposits.

Bill Gates-Backed Company Seeks to Deploy Small Modular Nuclear Reactors in U.S.

from Zero Hedge

A company founded by Bill Gates is planning on being the first to build a new generation of nuclear power plants based on small modular reactors (SMRs) in the United States. These plans usually have a power capacity of 300MW or less, which is about 1/3rd of regular reactors.

TerraPower has officially “joined the race” against Russia and China to develop lower-cost nuclear reactors, according to FT this week.

CEO Chris Levesque said they are seeking US regulatory approval for their innovative liquid sodium-cooled reactor this month. The Natrium reactors could be constructed at nearly half the cost of traditional water-cooled nuclear reactors.

The Growing Rebellion Against Costly, Low-Quality, Overly-Complex Technology

by Charles Hugh Smith
Of Two Minds

Many consumers have yet to grasp how vulnerable they are to increasingly routine digital-component failures.

One of the greatest myths about “free markets” is that enterprises create products and services to meet the needs of consumers. That sounds nice but that’s not what happens in monopoly-cartel dominated economies like ours. In monopoly-cartel dominated economies like ours, what actually happens is the monopoly / cartel (i.e. a handful of quasi-monopolies that completely dominate their sector) limit their offerings to the most profitable products and services and force customers to buy them by making it impossible to find better-value options.

Monopoly-cartel dominated economies like ours are rife with intentionally shoddy quality products and services because durability is anathema to ever-higher profits. By designing products and services to fail–planned obsolescence–or become obsolescent by other means–your product is no longer supported–monopolies / cartels force consumers to constantly replace failed or timed-out products.

Scouting Report: Anticipating Election Violence

It’s time to take another look at the completely unacceptable state of voting int he US. Once you know, you know. There’s no going back. Millions are already ‘there’ on the topic and they almost certainly will not accept the next election theft quietly. You’d best be ready for both election shenanigans and the possibility of violence.

by Dr. Chris Martenson
Chris Martenson’s Peak Prosperity

One of the verboten topics of the past 2 decades was questioning our Safe & Effective elections and especially the e-voting machines and tabulators.

Polite conversation excluded such discussions even when completely obvious malfunctions and impossibly improbable ‘results’ happened over and over again.

It was not different than observing that building 7 came down symmetrically and then being told that NIST’s model explained it perfectly when that model showed something entirely different than what you could see with your own lying eyes.

During Spring Bank Panic of 2023, Liquidity Advances From FHLBs Topped Those of Q4 2008, When Wall Street Was in Collapse

by Pam Martens and Russ Martens
Wall Street on Parade

According to data from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and using a graph from the St. Louis Fed above, the liquidity crisis among banks in the spring of last year was far more dramatic than has been acknowledged by banking regulators.

According to the data, during the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression (at the end of the fourth quarter of 2008 when Wall Street was in a state of collapse), banks had borrowed a total of $790 billion in advances from Federal Home Loan Banks (FHLBs). But during the bank panic in the spring of last year, those FHLB advances topped the Q4 2008 number, registering $804 billion as of March 31, 2023.

Supreme Court Rules 6-3 to Allow Texas to Arrest and Deport Illegals – For Now

by Monica Showalter
American Thinker

So when are immigration policy and immigration law the exact same thing?

Only when you are the Biden administration, which had been desperate to stop Texas from enforcing federal law on an illegals invasion, while trying to pretend that it wouldn’t dream of allowing every illegal into the country who wants in, even though that’s exactly what it is doing.

Which brings us to the Supreme Court’s clarity on the matter this morning.

According to the Washington Post:

The Supreme Court on Tuesday cleared the way for Texas to begin enforcing, for now, one of the nation’s harshest immigration laws, which opponents say would disrupt more than a century of federal control over international borders.

Bank of Japan Keeps Making its Loosest-Ever Monetary Policy Slightly Less Loose in Tiny Steps at Slowest-Ever Snail’s Pace

by Wolf Richter
Wolf Street

Which devalued the yen by a Third-Worldish 30% against the USD in two years as other central banks hiked in big increments and started QT.

Scraps NIRP. Citing “the virtuous cycle between wages and prices,” with both rising, and citing its thingy that “the price stability target of 2 percent would be achieved in a sustainable and stable manner,” the Bank of Japan today scrapped its negative interest rate policy by hiking its short-term policy rate by a whopping 10 basis points from -0.1% to a whopping 0.0%, the first rate hike, if you can even call it that, since 2007.

“My law firm is currently in court fighting for free and fair elections in 52 cases across 19 states.” – Marc Elias, DNC Lawfare Ninja, punking voters

Have you noticed how quickly our Ukraine problem went away, vanished, phhhhttttt? At least from the top of US news media websites. The original idea, as cooked-up by departed State Department strategist Victoria Nuland, was to make Ukraine a problem for Russia, but instead we made it a problem for everybody else, especially ourselves in the USA, since it looked like an attempt to kick-start World War Three. Now she is gone, but the plans she laid apparently live on.

Our Congress so far has resisted coughing up another $60-billion for the Ukraine project — most of it to be laundered through Raytheon (RTX), General Dynamics, and Lockheed Martin — so instead “Joe Biden” sent Ukraine’s President Zelensky a few reels of Laurel and Hardy movies.

Biden’s Top Intelligence Agency Says Crossdressing Makes Man ‘Better Intelligence Officer,’ Internal Docs Show

DW INVESTIGATES: ‘I am an intelligence officer, and I am a man who likes to wear women’s clothes sometimes,’ reads testimony from inside intel community

by Spencer Lindquist
Daily Wire

The below story is the first part of a series on the Office of the Director of National Intelligence’s DEI newsletter, “The Dive.”

Agents at the Central Intelligence Agency, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and throughout the intelligence community were distributed a newsletter that celebrated an intelligence official for crossdressing, saying that dressing up in women’s clothes makes him “a better intelligence officer,” according to an internal document obtained by The Daily Wire.

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence sent its internal newsletter, called “The Dive” and obtained by The Daily Wire through a Freedom of Information Act request, to personnel across the entire Intelligence Community. Featured in the newsletter was an article by an anonymous official claiming that crossdressing makes him a better intelligence officer.

Chinese Auto Executive: ‘Bloodbath’ Coming for American Auto Industry

by John Binder
Breitbart.com

He Xiaopeng, the CEO of XPeng Motors, predicts a “bloodbath” against America’s auto industry with the help of cheap China-made electric vehicles (EVs).

Over the weekend, former President Donald Trump was campaigning in Vandalia, Ohio, when he warned that without fierce new United States tariffs on China-made EVs, the American auto industry will face “a bloodbath for the country” with jobs lost and industry offshored.

“We’re going to put a 100 percent tariff on every single car that comes across the line and you’re not going to be able to sell those cars if I get elected,” Trump said. “Now if I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a bloodbath for the whole, that’s going to be the least of it, it’s going to be a bloodbath for the country, that’s going to be the least of it.”

Supreme Court Says Officials Who Block Critics On Social Media Might Be Violating the First Amendment

The justices established guidelines for determining whether that is true in any particular case.

by Jacob Sullum
Reason.com

When Donald Trump was president, he provoked a First Amendment lawsuit by banning critics from his Twitter account. “Once the President has chosen a platform and opened up its interactive space to millions of users and participants,” the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit ruled in 2019, “he may not selectively exclude those whose views he disagrees with.” Although that case became moot after Trump left office, the issues it raised have come up repeatedly across the country because public officials, regardless of their political party, are united in resenting criticism and often prefer to silence irksome constituents rather than simply ignoring them.

In two unanimous decisions published on Friday, the U.S. Supreme Court held that such blocking can violate the First Amendment and clarified the standard for determining when it does. The justices did not actually resolve either case, instead sending them back to the lower courts for reconsideration in light of its newly announced guidelines.

U.S. Consumers Have Reached a Breaking Point

by Michael Snyder
The Economic Collapse Blog

Over the past several years, the cost of living has been rising significantly faster than paychecks have. As a result, U.S. consumers have reached a breaking point. Delinquency rates are spiking and bankruptcies have risen to a very dangerous level. I have been hearing from so many people that are struggling to survive in this suffocating economic environment. It has become increasingly difficult just to pay for the basics, and so many Americans have very little or no discretionary income to spend these days. If you want evidence that this is having a major economic impact, just consider the fact that 1,000 dollar stores are going to be shut down. If U.S. consumers were in good shape, that wouldn’t be happening.

The economic shift that we have witnessed since the turn of the decade has been nothing short of epic.

CBS Reporter Horrified When Black Former Democrats Say They Will Vote Trump

Trump’s support among black voters is up 500% in the past 6 months

by Steve Watson
Modernity News

During a segment on the political sentiments of Black voters in Georgia, a reporter was shocked when a couple who were formerly Democrats declared that they are now going to vote for Donald Trump.

CBS News correspondent Nikole Killion was clearly horrified when Azad Ahmadi and his girlfriend, who had both previously voted for Obama, and were registered Democrats, announced they have both switched allegiances.

While Mr Ahmadi said he voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020, Alexandria announced that she had voted for Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden, before declaring that Trump will get her vote this time around.
