You Can Ignore Reality, but You Can’t Ignore the Consequences of Ignoring Reality

by Jeff Berwick
Dollar Vigilante

Welcome to the Twilight Zone.

Where a former Pfizer VP admits that it is “entirely possible this [the vaccine] will be used for massive-scale depopulation”.

And where parents wrap themselves and their children up in plastic in a form of legalized Munchausen by Proxy, and it’s not considered child abuse, but rather SAVING LIVES!

I guess for some people the “virus” and the “vaccine” are the least of their problems…

Like all the Karens who prove themselves stupid by their actions every day. @Cheapersdad perfectly captured the essence of every Karen in his tweet: “A lady that’s scared to catch covid from a non maskers, following a non masker around a store getting in his 6 ft space complaining he’s not wearing a mask? Genius!”

WEF Warns of Cyber Attack Leading to Systemic Collapse of the Global Financial System

by Whitney Webb
The Last American Vagabond

A report published last year by the WEF-Carnegie Cyber Policy Initiative calls for the merging of Wall Street banks, their regulators and intelligence agencies as necessary to confront an allegedly imminent cyber attack that will collapse the existing financial system.

In November 2020, the World Economic Forum (WEF) and Carnegie Endowment for International Peace co-produced a report that warned that the global financial system was increasingly vulnerable to cyber attacks. Advisors to the group that produced the report included representatives from the Federal Reserve, the Bank of England, the International Monetary Fund, Wall Street giants likes JP Morgan Chase and Silicon Valley behemoths like Amazon.

The ominous report was published just months after the World Economic Forum had conducted a simulation of that very event – a cyber attack that brings the global financial system to its knees – in partnership with Russia’s largest bank, which is due to jumpstart that country’s economic “digital transformation” with the launch of its own central bank-backed cryptocurrency.

Hollywood Choked by Wokeness

by Janet Levy
American Thinker

At the 78th Golden Globe Awards ceremony in 2020, host Ricky Gervais savagely roasted Hollywood’s woke hypocrisy. The British actor-comedian said this was the last time he would be hosting the show, so he would fire away with some nothing-to-lose sarcasm. He joked about Felicity Huffman — who got a 14-day jail term plus a fine and community service for bribing an SAT proctor to boost her daughter’s scores — designing the license plate of the limo that ferried him to the gala; about sex offenders Harvey Weinstein and Jeffrey Epstein; and about Hollywood’s protracted, politicized acceptance speeches. The reactions of many in the audience — including actor Tom Hanks’s priceless display of restrained apoplexy and discomfiture — were later meme-ified across the internet.

But what was really important was that Gervais drove home points about Hollywood’s sham wokeness, a sickening obsession that threatens to deep-six entertainment.

Joe Biden Learns to Love Gun Control by Presidential Fiat

The president’s unilateral restrictions are legally dubious and unlikely to “save lives.”

by Jacob Sullum
Reason.com

During a 2019 presidential debate, Joe Biden scolded Kamala Harris, then his opponent for the Democratic nomination, for promising to impose gun control by executive fiat instead of through legislation. “Let’s be constitutional!” he said. “We’ve got a Constitution.”

Today President Biden and Vice President Harris, frustrated by the legislative branch’s failure to approve the new firearm restrictions they favor, announced “six initial actions to address the gun violence public health epidemic.” All of these actions, they say, will “save lives” and are “fully within the Administration’s authority and the Second Amendment.” There are sound reasons to question all three of those claims.

One of Biden’s “six initial actions” is the nomination of gun control activist David Chipman to head the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF), which understandably alarms gun rights supporters but is subject to approval by the Senate.

The Equality Act’s Attack On Religion is Really About Private Property Rights

by Ryan McMaken
Mises.org

With the introduction of the Equality Act, the Democratic Party and its allies continue the now well-established tradition of using “antidiscrimination” and “public accommodation” laws to continue the attack on the private sector and private sector institutions.

Historically these laws, acts, and court rulings—found initially in the Civil Rights Act of 1964—focused largely on regulating hiring and the provision of services at private institutions. These legislative and judicial acts regulate how private owners of restaurants and hotels—and a wide variety of other private establishments—enter into verbal or written contracts with potential employees, clients, and customers.

Initially, these mandates focused on regulating service to religious minorities and what the Canadians call “visible minorities.” The Equality Act, however, greatly expands these federal powers. First, the Act continues to expand the groups that are considered “protected” groups, most notably LGBT groups.

Florida Governor DeSantis Sues CDC, Biden Administration, HHS

by Damjan Tutarkov
LaCorte News

Florida is suing the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in an attempt to lift Covid-19 restrictions the agency has imposed on the cruise industry for a whole year.

DeSantis made the announcement Thursday alongside state Attorney General Ashley Moody, who said the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Biden administration are also named as defendants in the suit.

“If we do not do this, you will see cruises continue to move these cruises to other countries,” Moody said at a news briefing at PortMiami., according to the Orlando Sentinel. “Florida will not allow that to happen.”

“On behalf of the tens of thousands of Floridians whose livelihood depends on the viability of an open cruise industry, today Florida is fighting back,” DeSantis said.

Rising Debt Means a Weaker Dollar

by Stefan Gleason
GoldSeek

Americans appear to be growing more concerned about the skyrocketing national debt level – officially $28.1 trillion and counting.

The Peter G. Peterson Foundation’s monthly Fiscal Confidence Index recently shed five points, dropping to a level of 47, in the wake of the Biden Administration’s latest $2 trillion stimulus package.

That $2 trillion bill is simply piled on top of already massive budget deficits.

And it adds furthers to concerns over the country’s currency, the Federal Reserve Note “dollar.”

Federal debt is currently the largest as a percentage of the economy since World War II. Given that no amount of tax hikes will yield enough capital to cover the debt, the nation now finds itself on an unsustainable trajectory towards bankruptcy.

‘Time to Push Back’: Track Coach Fired After Not Enforcing School’s ‘Senseless’ Outdoor Mask Mandate

“…arbitrary, senseless, ill-thought rules.”

by Jon Brown
Daily Wire

A high school track and field coach in New Hampshire claimed he lost his job recently after he refused to enforce the school’s outdoor mask mandate, which he described as “senseless, irrational, cowardice bullsh*t.”

Bradley Keyes, who coached at Pembroke Academy in Pembroke, New Hampshire, for four years, explained his rationale in a letter to the school’s athletics director (that he also posted on a blog), according to local CBS affiliate WBZ.

“I will not stand up in front of the kids and lie to them and tell them that these masks are doing anything worthwhile out in an open field with wind blowing and the sun shining,” Keyes wrote regarding the guidelines set by the New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association.

What Happened to Biden’s Unity Agenda?

by Neil Patel
DailyCaller.com

Less than three months ago, President Joe Biden stood in front of the U.S. Capitol in the wake of the Jan. 6 riots and delivered his inaugural address. He called for unity, and Americans who see a politically fractured country welcomed it. He could have then put together an agenda that would have accomplished many of his goals while also helping heal the country. On COVID-19, infrastructure and other matters, there was a road to garnering massive bipartisan support. We focus a lot on disagreements, but in each of these areas, average citizens share a broad consensus that Biden could have reached.

Oddly, after dedicating his inauguration to national unity, Biden has abandoned the pursuit entirely.

What if the Fed is Wrong?

by David Brady
Sprott Money

We just got the minutes of the March FOMC meeting, and as always, the mainstream financial media focused on the positive headlines only, such as:

[…] This headline is a perfect example, because it clearly states that the Fed remains dovish but cleverly adds that this is in spite of an optimistic economic outlook. This way we get the continuation of easy monetary policy and an improving economy at the same time. What could be better?

However, having read the actual minutes in full, I have a very different take on what the Fed said. The following is just my opinion. Make up your own mind as to what the Fed is truly saying.

Hordes of Demoralized Police Officers Are Quitting Their Jobs, and America’s Streets Are Less Safe as a Result

by Michael Snyder
End of the American Dream

The United States has never faced a more severe law enforcement crisis than it is facing right now. All over the nation, police officers are quitting in droves, and many of those jobs are going unfilled because of the difficulty in recruiting new applicants. Since the death of George Floyd, police officers have been relentlessly demonized by the corporate media, police budgets have been dramatically slashed in major cities all across the country, and many prominent politicians have publicly expressed disdain for their local law enforcement authorities. In such an environment, serving the community as a police officer is not an attractive option, and it makes perfect sense why so many officers have been throwing in the towel on their once promising careers.

In Portland, 115 officers have either retired or resigned since July 1st.

Fauci: Covid-19 Cases Have Plateaued at “Disturbingly High Level”

by Mac Slavo
SHTF Plan

The fear-mongering continues. Head medical tyrant, Dr. Anothony Fauci, who can’t even decide how many masks he should be wearing, is saying “COVID-19 cases have plateaued at a “disturbingly high level.” That means we all should fear the upcoming surge.

Because the cases have plateaued high, Fauci says we need to get the experimental gene therapy shot that he himself admitted doesn’t stop infection or the spread of COVID-19 in order to stop the upcoming surge. Is anyone else getting tired of having to point out the lies because mainstream media is complicit in this hoax?

There is a reason the government (the masters and rulers) wants everyone to take this vaccine, and it cannot be good. With the amount of time dedicated to getting these shots in as many humans as possible, our only line of defense is questioning their agenda with our logic and critical thinking.

Texas Governor Abbott Urges “Second Amendment Sanctuary State” Legislation Following Biden Gun Control Declaration

“We will NOT allow this in TX.”

by Infowars.com
Info Wars

Gov. Greg Abbott (R) called on state legislators to bring him a bill declaring Texas a Second Amendment Sanctuary following executive actions on gun control announced by Joe Biden Thursday.

After Biden imposed six new measures aimed at making it more difficult for Americans to obtain guns, Abbott shot back that “Biden is threatening our 2nd Amendment rights.

“He just announced a new liberal power grab to take away our guns,” Abbott declared on Twitter, adding, “We will NOT allow this in TX.”

The Global Debt Problem

by Alasdair MacLeod
Gold Money

It has been recently estimated that global debts stand at $284 trillion equivalent, representing 355% of global GDP. Estimates such as these must be treated with caution, and they probably underestimate financial sector debt. Furthermore, no allowance in these figures is made for OTC derivatives, which according to the Bank for International Settlements have a gross value of $15.48 quadrillion(!), netting out at $609 trillion.

This article comments on the different debt sectors: government, finance, non-financial corporate and consumer debt. It finds the dangers of excessive corporate debt have had the least attention, and that systemic risk in commercial banks is grossly underestimated.

The rapid growth of emerging market corporate debt is a recipe for a repeat of the Asian crisis in the late-1990s.

Biden’s $2.3 Trillion Infrastructure Plan is Teeming with Cronyism

Democrats never miss an opportunity to rail against big corporations. Yet they’re eagerly subsidizing their big corporate friends.

by Veronique de Rugy
Reason.com

“A crony anti-infrastructure plan” is, sadly, the best description of the Biden administration’s proposed $2.3 trillion infrastructure plan. It’s insanely expensive and unnecessary, especially coming, as it does, on top of last year’s fiscal insanity.

Over the past year, our leaders have spent $6 trillion in bailout and COVID-19 relief funds. They’ve driven local, state, and federal government spending up to 43.5 percent of GDP, meaning that we’re already in financial trouble. Now they want to top it off with trillions more of wasteful spending, describing it as “infrastructure” spending, which arguably everyone likes. But once you look at what’s in the bill, you realize that the label is mere marketing for more handouts to politicians’ friends and payments for pet projects.

The Fed vs the Real World

by Michael Wilkerson
American Thinker

Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell has made some interesting statements in recent weeks about the Fed’s view of inflation. In summary, Chairman Powell has stated that overall inflation remains below the Fed’s 2% long-term objective, and that while reopening of the economy could produce price increases later in the year, inflationary pressures from rising prices are likely to be neither large nor persistent. Given the transient nature of these effects, and a long history of deflationary pressures in the U.S. and around the world, Chairman Powell believes that inflation isn’t something to worry about. And in any event, Chairman Powell reassures us that the Fed “has the tools to deal with that [inflation]” should it rise above long-term target levels.

These statements stand in increasingly sharp contrast to the real world in which ordinary Americans live. The phrase popularized by Mark Twain that there are “lies, damned lies, and statistics,” seems well-suited to the Fed’s use of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) as the primary yardstick for inflation.
