Some Democrats attending President Joe Biden’s inauguration Wednesday were seen wearing bulletproof vests, according to some reports.
[…] Biden was sworn-in as the 46th president with no disruption, with now-former President Donald Trump skipping the ceremony for a military sendoff at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland on Wednesday morning.
The reports do not specify which Democrats wore the protective gear.
About 25,000 National Guard troops, aided by the FBI, Secret Service, and local law enforcement have been stationed across D.C. following the Jan. 6 attack on Capitol Hill.
