The European Central Bank held its key interest rates steady after a policy meeting on Thursday, as it continues to monitor the effects of a raft of new easing measures in March, but made no announcement about Greece.
Its governing council voted to keep the benchmark refinancing rate at its current all-time low of zero, after cutting it to that level in March, according to a statement released by the central bank.
The ECB also held the rate on its marginal lending facility unchanged at 0.25pc and the rate on the deposit facility steady at -0.4pc.
