Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) was treated to a rock star welcome when he made an appearance at the Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam festival over the weekend.
Taking the stage at the three-day festival in Panama City Beach, DeSantis slammed the lockdowns and Covid-19 celebrity Anthony Fauci.

Let people live their lives, (and) don’t make them wear masks,” DeSantis added as a message to other states still on lockdown. “You know Florida is always going to be open. We love having y’all here. God bless everybody, and God bless the United States of America.”
Lynard Skynard, Brad Paisley and Luke Bryan headlined the three-night festival attended by over 70,000 people.
