Former longtime New York Times science writer and editor Nicholas Wade appeared on Fox News on “Life, Liberty & Levin” to discuss the origin of the Covid-19 pandemic and grants provided by the U.S. to the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) for coronavirus-related research.
Wade’s take: Wade argued that details about the origin of Covid-19 are unclear due to the communist Chinese regime withholding information on that subject.
“I think we see a sustained Chinese propaganda effort at work,” Wade said. “But, you know, more than that, it was just the blindness, if I could put it that way, of our media, we’re too polarized to see scientific issues for their own sake without putting a political gloss on them.”
He argued while the origin of the disease remains a mystery, there are are “two possible scenarios.”
