Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) rejected a reporter’s request on Wednesday to put a mask on during a Senate presser.
The story: The Texas Senator spoke with reporters on Wednesday at the Russell Senate Office Building in Washington D.C. He discussed a scheduled Congressional Delegation trip to the U.S.-Mexico border where the Biden administration is attempting to deal with an influx of migrants. The lawmakers are expected to travel there on Friday, according to KHOU 11.
But, before Cruz started talking to journalists, an unidentified reporter asked him to put a mask on.
“Would you mind putting on a mask for us?” the reporter asked.
