Former President Trump has endorsed Sarah Sanders’s run for Arkansas Governor and opened an office in Florida to handle his post-presidential affairs.
The endorsement: The former president expressed support for his former press secretary’s bid in a statement on Monday after she officially announced a run for the governorship in Arkansas. Sanders promised to defend Americans’ freedom of speech, right to bear arms, and protect them from the “radical left.”

Sarah is strong on Borders, tough on Crime, and fully supports the Second Amendment and our great law enforcement officers,” Trump wrote in a statement. “She loves our Military and Veterans – and her home state of Arkansas. Sarah will be a GREAT governor and she has my Complete and Total Endorsement!”
Sanders thanked him on Twitter.
