Two more counties in Georgia found votes that were not tabulated in the initial results as election officials conduct an official recount in the state.
The story: During a hand tally of the votes in the presidential race, it was discovered that officials failed to upload a memory card in Fayette county that contained 2,755 votes. Gabriel Sterling in the Secretary of State’s Office explained that the ballots have been scanned but the votes were not uploaded, 11Alive News reported. He said they found the uncounted votes after they noticed a discrepancy in the number of people that checked in for early voting in the county and the number of reported votes from the county.
