An astounding 97 percent of all jokes late-night hosts Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Fallon told about the two U.S. presidential candidates last month were aimed at President Donald Trump, according to a new study.
According to the study, conducted by the Center for Media and Public Affairs at George Mason University in Virginia, the hosts told 455 jokes trashing the president and only 14 targeting Democratic opponent Joe Biden.
The study did not include the 64 jokes the hosts made about Trump’s family and his administration.
“When Trump’s onstage, everyone else is blacked out,” said George Mason communication professor Robert Lichter, according to the Associated Press.
