Police in New York City are looking for vandals who cut down a flagpole at a commemorating five firefighters who died in the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
The incident was first reported to police Wednesday.
[…] The culprits used an unknown tool to cut the pole five from its base and wrote a message that remains on the pole, said Washingtonville Police Chief Brian Zaccaro, Fox News reported.
He did not disclose the contents of the message but said police are investigating the vandalism.
