Roger Ailes, CEO of Fox News will either be fired or forced to resign from Fox News, according to a new report in New York Magazine.
Owner Rupert Murdoch and sons Lachlan and James:
“… have settled on removing the 76-year-old executive, say two sources briefed on a sexual-harassment investigation of Ailes being conducted by New York law firm Paul, Weiss.”
The Murdochs are said to be split over whether Ailes should be fired this week, or wait until the Republican convention is over, but another source says that all three agree that Ailes has to go.
Still other sources say that even if Ailes is done at Fox, he may not be done. There is apparently plenty of conservative money out there willing to support the kind of team Ailes put together, despite recent allegations of sexual impropriety.
