Still Report #934 – Ryan Takes Max Political Advantage of Trump

from Bill Still

lass=”” >Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan has slammed Donald Trump’s comments concerning Judge Gonzalo Curiel’s bias against Trump in the Trump University case as:
“… a textbook definition of a racist comment.”
Apparently ignoring Trump’s clarification of his stance last night on Bill O’Reilly’s show, Ryan, in an obvious attempt to take maximum political advantage, criticized Trump in a news conference this morning:
“I disavow these comments,” said Ryan.
“Claiming a person can’t do a job because of their race is sort of like the textbook definition of a racist comment…. but do I believe that Hillary Clinton is the answer? No, I do not.”
Of course Ryan has just handed Clinton the juiciest sound bite for a 30-second commercial imaginable.
Paul Ryan’s Republican primary opponent, Paul Nehlen, is hitting Ryan hard with a new 30-second ad criticizing his inability or unwillingness to seal the southern border.
[insert]
Nehlen discussed the new ad on Breitbart News Daily on Sirius XM with host Stephen K. Bannon.
“His failure to secure this border has created a new underground railroad for transporting, not only illegal aliens into this country but illegal narcotics, as well. …
“We’re losing more American lives to ‘narco terror’ in Chicago and Milwaukee today, than Islamic terror in Afghanistan and Iraq.”
“DC politicians are the first ones to keep soda and salt away from our kids, when you try to keep a child from dying from a $5 Heroin pill, they’re noticeably silent.”
I’m still reporting from Washington. Good day.
