Arizona Opens Summer Camp for Kids… In Jail

from RT America

lass=”” >It’s called Sheriff Arpaio’s Camp Summer Stars. There’s one in June and one in July. It lasts for two days. The point of it, according to the Sheriff, is to teach kids the realities of jail life in an effort to scare them straight. While they’re at the camp, the kids will be treated just like any inmate. They’ll have to wear inmate clothing. They’ll sleep in jail bunks. They’ll eat jail food. They’ll do jail labor jobs. They’ll get the full-on experience of what it’s like to be in jail.
