Gold can push higher from here, says Chris Berry, co-editor of the Disruptive Discoveries Journal, an investment letter dedicated to looking at disruptions in the commodity space that may prove profitable for investors. ‘I think a lot of the rally in gold right now just has to do with the realization that central banks aren’t as omnipotent as we thought they were, and they’re running out of tools to stoke growth in the global economy,’ he told Kitco News at the PDAC convention in Toronto. ‘I really think things may push gold to $1,300,’ he added. Berry said he is particularly bullish on lithium, which he says has the potential to push much higher in the coming years, adding that uranium also has an interesting story. Looking at the U.S. presidential election, Berry also had interesting comments about frontrunner Donald Trump. ‘It’s scary, I think, to a lot of different people in a lot of different ways.’
