Sentiment seems to be more optimistic at the BMO Metals & Mining Conference this year, and Pershing Gold’s CEO Stephen Alfers says he expects prices to move higher from here. ‘I feel a very different sentiment right now. This year, we seem to have fundamentals lined up with the higher gold price,’ he told Kitco News. Alfers also expect this to spillover into the mining space, particularly for junior companies.
