TX Profs Told Not to Discuss Sensitive Topics Due to New Gun Law

Texas just passed a law allowing student to openly carry guns on their university campuses. Now, campuses across the state are preparing for students to bring guns to school. At the University of Houston, faculty senate made a presentation for a forum in which they’d discuss how to react to the new gun law. The presentation encourages teachers to not discuss sensitive issues and even change their curricula to avoid making students angry. The Resident discusses.
