According to Kate Tulenko, MD, immigrants used to take lower paying jobs that Americans wouldn’t work at. Now that’s changed. Immigrants, especially under the proposed law, will be getting more higher paying high tech jobs and more health care positions. The US isn’t investing in higher paying jobs for Americans. Under the perverse incentives in place, non-Americans will be getting first dibs on these much sought after jobs. Entirely unfair and un-American.
