Multiple rockets were fired toward the U.S. Embassy in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad on Tuesday, Iraqi security officials said.
Four Katyusha rockets were fired inside Baghdad’s heavily secured Green Zone, leading to at least two people being injured.
[…] The rockets were intercepted by the C-RAM air defense system, installed earlier this year, and landed about 2,000 feet from the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, NBC New York reports.
No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack, according to the station.
