Can the U.S. Hold?

In our increasingly fragmented and divided society, one wonders: “Can the US Hold?”

Asking this question is equivalent to exploring whether the United States can remain intact. Is cooperation no longer possible? If cooperation no longer works, then is another Civil War inevitable or is it possible for the US to divide peacefully? Perhaps there is a way to continue intact. Perhaps not.

This issue is explored by Jeff Deist of the Mises Institute in this talk below. (A caution is in order. When Mr. Deist uses the term “liberal” he generally means “classical liberal” which is the exact opposite of what the current definition of the term means.)
