Princeton’s Graduate Student Government sent an open letter to the university’s leadership after the president of the Ivy League school issued a statement affirming the university’s support for diversity and free speech.
The university’s position
Last month, members of the Princeton administration released a “Statement on Principles of Inclusivity and Free Speech,” affirming the university’s support for “inclusivity and free speech, which can be protected even when the speech in question is ‘unwelcome, disagreeable, or even deeply offensive.’”
