PHILADELPHIA (MarketWatch) — Donald Trump is leading Hillary Clinton in the race for the White House in two polls released Monday, coming after last week’s Republican National Convention and just as the Democratic National Convention opens in Philadelphia.

Trump leads Clinton 44% to 40% in a Morning Consult poll taken July 22-24, a turnaround from the prior week, when Clinton had a two-point lead. In a CNN/ORC poll, Trump takes 48% to Clinton’s 45%.
