Companies Share ‘Pride’ Social Media Posts, Just Not in the Middle East

Major U.S. corporations on Tuesday marked the beginning of Pride Month with messages of support for members of the LGBT community everywhere.

Okay, maybe not everywhere.

The Spectator on Wednesday published an article contrasting the main Twitter pages of several major corporations with their Twitter accounts in Middle Eastern countries.

U.S. consumer goods giant Protect & Gamble on Tuesday posted a Pride flag and a pro-LGBT message on its main Twitter account that said: “We strive to be a champion of #LGBTQVisibility year-round, using our voice to drive acceptance, inclusion and a love for humanity.”
