President Joe Biden is reportedly opposed to forming his own presidential commission to investigate the Jan. 6 Capitol Hill insurrection.
Axios reported Thursday that President Biden is not in favor of creating a presidential commission, and will instead keep pushing Congress to create a commission to scrutinize how the deadly riot unfolded.
Last Friday, Senate Republicans killed a bill to form a Jan. 6 commission after the bill easily passed the House.
The Senate voted 54 to 35 in favor of the bill, with six Republican senators joining all Democrats.
