Speaker Nancy Pelosi snapped at a reporter during a news conference Thursday in response to a reporter’s questions concerning impeachment witnesses, specifically Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham’s threat to call FBI agents to testify.
“Your question is a waste of time” Pelosi said during her weekly news conference on the Hill.
Her comments came after she refused to answer questions about the necessity of impeachment after now-former President Trump has left office, deflecting the answer to the Trump legal defense team.
“We don’t have to defend why it is necessary,” Pelosi said. “They are going to be there to present the case … and we don’t have to talk about who is going to be there or not cause we just don’t know.”
