Gab Says it Has Been Refused by Three Banks in the Last Month

Three banks have reportedly denied their services to the free-speech-oriented social media network Gab over the past weeks amid attacks from the mainstream media.

The story: GAB CEO Andrew Torba told National File three banks have banned the relatively new platform, founded in 2016, over the past three weeks and believes the decisions were politically motivated.

Torba said one bank told him Monday they could no longer keep him as a client with “all the bad things the press has written about Gab.”

“Gab follows the law and operates a legal business in the United States,” Torba told National File. “We sell hats, shirts, and a software license to our GabPRO service. We have a community that respects law and order. Yet we have banks and other services banning us left and right.”
