Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer tripped over his words during a Friday speech from the Senate floor.
After announcing that the article of impeachment was expected to be delivered by Monday, Schumer said that the Senate would take it up and proceed with a trial. “Senators will have to decide if Donald John Trump incited the erection,” Schumer said, before immediately correcting himself and adding, “insurrection.”

But make no mistake, there will be a trial and when that trial ends, senators will have to decide if they believe Donald John — Donald John Trump incited the erection — insurrection against the United States,” Schumer said, appearing to catch his breath as he realized his mistake.
