Parler on Monday filed an antitrust lawsuit against Amazon after the company became the latest major tech firm to deny Parler its services.
Parler banned: As of Monday, following Parler’s ban on Amazon Web Services the day before, the conservative-friendly platform had no presence on the Internet. Amazon announced Sunday that the company terminated its hosting services for Parler, meaning Parler won’t be accessible until it finds a new host.
In a Saturday letter to Parler Chief Policy Officer Amy Peikoff, Amazon Web Services (AWS) said it has flagged in recent weeks 98 examples of “posts that clearly encourage and incite violence.”
