Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) on Monday blasted a group of protesters who showed up at his home in Washington D.C. and allegedly threatened his wife and newborn daughter.
The story: The incident happened during a protest outside of his home. Hawley said that the group attempted to open the door of his house by pounding on it, yelled threats, and vandalized property. He noted that he was in Missouri at the time but his wife and newborn daughter were at home in D.C.
He slammed the protest as “leftwing violence” and called protesters “Antifa scumbags.”
