Robert Piton, a data expert who testified this week that hundreds of thousands of “fake people” voted in Arizona in the presidential election, has been “permanently” banned from Twitter for supposedly violating the company’s rules on “manipulation and spam.”
The ban: In a statement to The Blaze, a Twitter spokesperson said Piton “was permanently suspended for violating Twitter Rules on Platform Manipulation and Spam.”
The spokesperson did not specify which of Piton’s posts prompted the ban.
His allegations: Piton, the managing partner of Pre-Active Investments, LLC and an investment advisor representative of Total Clarity Wealth Management, appeared as an expert witness at a public hearing held by Arizona Republican lawmakers this week.
