House Republicans Call for Investigation Into Alleged Election Irregularities

Two House Republicans are demanding that the House Judiciary and Oversight Committees launch investigations into claims of voter fraud and other irregularities regarding the 2020 presidential election.

The story: Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), a member of the House Judiciary Committee, and James Comer (R-KY), who sits on the House Oversight Committee, have sent a letter to the chairs of the respective committees asking them to take a deeper look at the presidential election, citing allegations of “irregularities” and “improprieties” about the process.

“We urge you to immediately convene hearings to examine the integrity of the 2020 election amid troubling reports of irregularities and improprieties,” the Republicans wrote.
