Trump Demands Biden and Harris Apologize for ‘Reckless Anti-Vaccine Rhetoric’

President Trump blasted Joe Biden and Kamala Harris on Monday over what he said was their “reckless anti-vaccine rhetoric” and said the two should “immediately apologize.”

What did Biden and Harris say?

Trump’s remarks came after Biden, at a campaign event in Pennsylvania the same day, said Americans would feel “reluctant” to take a “good” vaccine due to Trump’s rhetoric.

“If I could get a vaccine tomorrow I’d do it, if it would cost me the election I’d do it,” Biden said.

He added: “One of the problems is the way he’s playing with politics,’ Biden said of Trump. “He’s said so many things that aren’t true. And I’m worried that if we do have a really good vaccine people are going to be reluctant to take it,” Biden said of Trump, further accusing the President of “undermining public confidence.”
