Reporters are calling out Joe Biden for spending less and less time talking to the press with just six weeks to go before the Nov. 3 general election.
Over the past several days, multiple reporters have taken to Twitter to point out that the Biden campaign has been repeatedly calling it a “lid” — the end of his campaign’s activities for the day — before the day has even begun.
“With 42 days left, Biden campaign again calls a lid on the day. No events, no questions. If Trump wins, we’ll look back on the strategy of playing not to lose as a key factor. And some Democrats who can accurately gauge the feeling on the ground know it,” tweeted The Hill reporter Joe Concha on Tuesday.
