According to noted columnist Star Parker, there’s nothing as racist as the current welfare system. It embeds low expectations for blacks and encourages absentee fathers and the destruction of the black family. Ms. Parker believes that doing away with welfare will do away with most of the ills that plague the black community across America. It’s not the racism of the right that is keep them down, it’s the racism of the left.

Ahem, Kerry. Now we all know that you don’t have a racist bone in your entire body. But can you PLEASE knock off with the racial identity schtick. You insult your listeners intelligence. Why…because I’ll bet a lot of money that 95+% of them know exactly who Star Parker is. I’ve been a fan of hers for years. 2nd of all, I and probably the vast majority of your audience couldnt give a darn what your guest’s genealogy is. 3rd, as a guest I might feel somewhat uncomfortable hearing you allude to my ancestry (“does he really need to introduce that into the conversation?”).
