Rioters Set Fire at Building in Portland, Attack Officers

The police in Portland declared a riot after violent protesters broke into a police union building and set fire.

The story: Violent demonstrations in the Portland, Oregon continued even after federal agents withdrew from the city more than a week ago. On Saturday, hundreds of rioters, according to the police department, marched to the Portland Police Association Office, which represents members of the Portland Police Bureau.

They blocked traffic with fences and garbage dumpsters on their way to the PPA and set ablaze multiple dumpsters near the building. A group of rioters eventually broke into the building and started a fire inside.
