Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz has signed an executive order that effectively revokes the state’s ban on the use of the anti-malarial drug hydroxychloroquine to treat patients infected with COVID-19.
Last week, Walz, member of the Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party, signed an emergency executive order rescinding three coronavirus-related executive orders his office issued between March and April and amended a fourth executive order that imposed “limitations” on prescriptions of chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine to COVID-19 patients.
