Nearly 50 businesses are mulling on leaving downtown Minneapolis over a drop in laborforce and socializing in the area, as well as the city’s plan to dismantle its police department.
The story: Downtown Council has conducted a survey which showed than 45 business owners are considering abandoning downtown Minneapolis, CBS Minnesota reported. The council declined to name the businesses but reported one of the business owners considering moving elsewhere has around 600 employees.
