Lauren Boebert, rookie candidate and the owner of Shooters Grill in Rifle, Colorado, where she encourages her staff to open carry firearms, just toppled five-time incumbent Republican Rep. Scott Tipton, despite the fact that President Trump backed Tipton. Boebert also gained local fame by refusing to comply with orders to shutdown her business for the COVID-19 pandemic. Democrats think this smells like opportunity to steal a seat. Bill Whittle thinks otherwise.
