A black Portland police officer detailed how he and other minority colleagues have been repeatedly subjected to hateful and racist verbal attacks from white Black Lives Matter protesters.
The situation in Portland
Portland has seen nearly two straight months of protesting following Goerge Floyd’s death on May 25 and often those protests would transition into violent clashes between demonstrators and police, acts of looting, destruction of property, and even a thwarted attempt to establish an “autonomous zone.”
