Mollie Hemingway, at TheFederalist.com, says the so-called “Battle of Lafayette Square” — in which unprovoked cops attacked peaceful protestors with tear gas canisters to clear a path for President Trump’s awkward Bible photo op — is not what every major news source said it was. Her account largely agrees with a statement from the acting chief of the park police. Do conservatives trust the voice of the state over numerous accounts from the free press?
