Steve Maggi is a lawyer, former immigrant, and naturalized U.S. Citizen. Steve noted that lost in all the primary election news is the implementation of a new policy which began this week, aimed at making it harder for low-income LEGAL immigrants to get public benefits. Immigrants who cannot show they are making more than $60,000 will be denied a visa or green card, despite having entered the U.S. legally. Is this fair? The Supreme Court, by a 5-4 vote, said yes.
