Now that the Olympics are over, Uncle Sam stands to collect $X in taxes from our athletes who won medals. Most other countries waive any fees or taxes on Olympic medals worn in patriotism, but the US considers all medal winnings – and the metal they’re even made of – to be ‘regular income.’ The Resident breaks it down.
