The genesis of the rally started back in early May when Donald Trump tweeted out a message for Cinco De Mayo and posted this photo of him eating a taco bowl that was made at the Trump Tower Grill. The picture and the tweet got over 114,000 likes.
“Happy #CincoDeMayo! The best taco bowls are made in Trump Tower Grill. I love Hispanics!”
The left exploded at the Trump photo, including deep in the bowels of the Democratic National Committee in Washington.
A staff member referred to Latino voters with the term “taco bowl” in a May 6 email released by Wikileaks.
DNC Digital official Rebecca Christopher said:
“Hi everyone,
“Attached is a script for a new video we’d like to use to mop up some more taco bowl engagement, and demonstrate [that] Trump actually isn’t trying.”
Well it turns out that Trump REALLY WAS trying, and it sparked a movement among patriotic Latino-Americans who love their country and the safety and freedoms that America provides.
They have organized as “Operation Taco Bowl” and their first big rally will be held this afternoon in Anaheim.
Latinas for Trump will be there.
Patriot Mom tweeted this morning:
“Dem Latinos! They are using us! We’re just taco bowl votes! Join us: 8/28 in SoCal.”
Veteran4Trump tweeted:
“I served in the U.S. Marine Corps and as a Mexican immigrant, I don’t like being called ‘taco bowl’.
Millennial Latinos are flocking to Trump now under the hashtag: Alt-RightMexAm4Trump:
“Latinos aren’t dumb, we will destroy the liberal agenda. We are DONE with the pandering!”
I love the Latin culture in LA. Anyone who knows me well knows that the one place that is a “can’t miss” every time I’m in LA is the Spanish heart of the oldest part of LA – Olvera Street.
