Earlier today, Prime Minister David Cameron announced his resignation effective Wednesday.
On Wednesday evening, Theresa May will become the UK’s next prime evening without a single vote being cast.
Under UK parliamentary rules there is normally a vote by party members on the top two candidates.
However, UK Energy Minister Andrea Leadsom pulled out of the race following her controversial comments that motherhood made her a better candidate than May.
