Donald Trump has just said on Bill O’Reilly’s show that if he were president today, he would go to Congress tomorrow and ask for a declaration of war against ISIS.
“This is war. This is a world war. It’s completely out of control and unless we get serious about this, it’s just going to get worse and worse.”
Trump also said he would mobilize NATO:
“I would mobilize NATO to wipe ISIS off the face of the earth as soon as possible.”
Trump also announced that he is postponing his Vice presidential pick tomorrow due to the attack in Nice, France on French Independence Day.
“We have to get much tougher. We have to be very tight with our borders. This is a different world now. We are trying to be so politically correct, and we have got to stop it.
“It’s about time that the President calls this radical Islamic terrorism. He ought to say it. And he has to stop letting in all these people into our country. We ale letting in thousands of people and we don’t know who they are.”
“Hillary created ISIS with her stupid policies. Our president is going to finally have to admit this.”
“It’s so sad and we don’t do anything about it. We are weak and weakly led.”
Trump still claimed at this hour, 19:25 pm, that he is still mulling over his VP pick:
“I haven’t made a final, final decision.”
Insiders have said in the past few hours that Trump had selected Mike Pense, but Trump is furious at his former campaign manager, Corey Lewindowski because someone tipped him off to the Pence pick and Lewindowski tweeted it out hours ago.
I’m still reporting from Washington. Good day.
