Well, well, it turns out to be true after all. Facebook workers routinely suppress news stories that are of interest to the conservative community.
The workers, known ironically as “news curators” inside the company, manipulated the “trending” news section in other ways as well, such as injecting stories that were not actually trending into the trending section to try to pump up their popularity.
Curators wore also forbidden to include any negative news about Facebook itself in the trending section.
