Although gold prices have fallen back from Monday’s early gains, one longtime precious metals researcher says he could see the yellow metal jump over $100 from current levels. ‘The bear market is now over,’ Phil Newman, founding partner of London-based research firm Metals Focus, told Kitco News. ‘By Q4, gold could be trading at $1,350 an ounce,’ he adds. Newman also comments on the drop in the gold-to-silver ratio to levels last seen in December, and what it could mean for silver prices moving forward.
