Pelosi Gets ‘Sharp’ When Asked About AOC, Blames GOP for Covid Relief Delay

House Speaker Pelosi (D-CA) got defensive in a recent interview after she was asked about criticism from Rep. Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and the amount of time it took Congress to agree on a COVID-19 relief bill.

The story: Pelosi spoke with CBS News correspondent Lesley Stahl for a “60 Minutes” interview that aired on Sunday. The House Speaker weighed in on various issues during the interview, including the Capitol riots, President Trump, the coronavirus relief package, and the future leaders in the Democratic party.

The coronavirus relief package: At one point during the interview, Stahl told Pelosi that she has a reputation for being inflexible and indicated that it might have played a role in the delay of the coronavirus relief bill.

You, yourself, are not known as a person who compromises,” Stahl told the House Speaker.
