MSNBC anchor Joy Reid referred to U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas as “Uncle Clarence” while discussing the possibility of the high court getting involved in the 2020 presidential election.
What did Trump say? Reid made the remarks after President Trump claimed victory Tuesday, even though several key battleground states remain unresolved, and said he will take up the issue with the Supreme Court.
“We won states and all of a sudden, I said what happened to the election? It’s off,” the president said. “This is a fraud on the American public. This is an embarrassment to our country. So our goal now is to ensure the integrity for the good of this nation, this is a very big moment. This is a major fraud on our nation. We want the law to be used in the proper manner.
“So we will be going to the U.S. Supreme Court. We want all voting to stop. We don’t want them to find any ballots at 4 o’clock in the morning and add them to the list. OK? It’s a very sad, it’s a very sad moment,” he added.
